Guatemala, located in Central America, offers not only stunning beauty but also warm, kind people who will enrich your life! This mission journey will give you opportunities for church-to-church relationships as we serve God’s Kingdom together.
Guatemala Baptists have over 700 established churches + 300 missions, yet many areas still lack a Christian presence, highlighting the need for church planting. Many churches could greatly benefit from partnerships to become more mission-focused. Some pastors minister to both their main church and a church plant. We’ve seen a strong response to various ministries in communities where local churches are active, with many people praying to receive Christ.
Guatemala offers a unique opportunity for volunteers to reach towns, neighborhoods, private schools, and public schools with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

- Discipleship: Essential for local church growth, discipleship deepens faith and encourages active community engagement.
- Openness: The warm and friendly Guatemalan people are receptive to the gospel, providing a unique opportunity for outreach.
- Physical Challenges: Issues like malnutrition, lack of clean water, poor infrastructure, food insecurity and healthcare access create opportunities for volunteers to use their God-given talents.
