Many families in Latin America still prepare meals over open flames, typically by burning wood. During the rainy season, they are often forced to cook indoors, releasing smoke and toxins into the air being breathed by the home residents. The installation of a vented oven ensures that families have a safe and effective way to prepare meals, without exposing their families to dangerous breathing conditions.

We often take clean drinking water for granted, but in Latin America, clean drinking water is not widely available. Parasitic infections from unclean drinking water leads to malnutrition and other health issues. Water filtration systems can provide entire families with safe, clean water for drinking and for food prep.
