Earlier this Summer, our President, Garry Eudy, was able to visit our team from Holston Valley Baptist Association. It was their 4th day of ministry with their partner church in Escuintla (Guatemala).
God provided the resources necessary for a mobile clinic with a triage station, eyeglasses/hearing aids station, a pharmacy and evangelism station. Each day, they saw about 80 patients and were able to provide medicine and vitamins for people suffering from diabetes, infections, parasites, hernias and others. They also gave out glasses, hearing aids and walkers for the ones who needed it.
Through this mobile clinic, they were able to share the Gospel with each person and 3 people
accepted Jesus Christ and 2 others rededicated their lives to the Lord!
The next Sunday they were able to do home visits, distributing water filters among the community and joined the local church for their afternoon service and weekly outreach for sex workers.
God provided in abundant ways — both for the team and the people they served.
